DUTIES

• Conducts research, evaluates findings, and makes independent decisions on procurement matters
• Interprets and evaluates contract provisions;
• Obtains oral and written price quotes from vendors;
• Compares quotes with the specifications and availability of items and places orders;
  
• Organizes, updates, and retains product information files and purchase order records;
  
• Reviews orders for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with existing policies and procedures;
  
•  Obtains appropriate commodities in a timely manner;
  
• Prepares purchase orders through a computerized system and places orders for the purchase of goods and services;
  
• Interviews vendors and evaluates their products and capabilities as a supplier;
  
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
  
• Demonstrates superior seamless customer service, integrity, and commitment to innovation, efficiency, and fiscally responsible activity.

QUALIFICATIONS

• ​​Must have prior experience with purchasing, pricing, terms, shipment, taxes, and payment for commodities and services
  
• Knowledge of Uniform Commercial Code.
  
• Knowledge of principles and practices of large scale centralized purchasing
  

GIS Technicians - Phoenix, AZ
Temporary to possible permanent
DUTIES

• GIS cadastral layer maintenance and development duties
  
• Map parcels by legal descriptions on deeds and plats
  
• Maintains and update database
  
• Researches and identifies user needs for GIS application, data and training
  
• Convert data from various sources into GIS database

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with GIS data layer development and management using ArcView 10.x or higher
• Landscape or Storm Drain experience a plus

Debt Collectors - Phoenix, AZ

DUTIES

• Negotiate payment terms and methods
• Utilize skip tracing techniques and collection strategies to locate right parties 
• Bilingual a plus

Civil Inspector  - Phoenix, AZ

Long Term Contract

• Perform offsite inspection (right of way e.g. paving, sidewalk, water, sewer, concrete, driveways, fire lines, storm drains, etc.)
• Perform on-site inspection (grading and drainage, storm drains, flood protection, erosion, retention, drywells, etc.)

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Prior experience with civil inspection

DUTIES:

• Manage entire procurement process in the area of assigned commodities/services of a highly complex and technical nature.
• Process procurement requisitions
• Prepare, issue, open, evaluate, and award highly complex/technical solicitations and related documents.
• Evaluate the risks associated with the contract, write specialized requirements, negotiate contract and leasing language, perform cost analysis to approve or reject request
• May conduct or participate in focus group meetings
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have over three years of experience working in a procurement role for a government agency
• Must have experience working with large contracts relating to service or materials.
